Mapsack is a window on world travel using maps, images and 'tags'. It is a wonderful way to browse travel opportunities, of great use to the end consumer and travel agents. Some people see it as a map-based search engine for travel.

Your company can promote itself on mapsack for free by adding places to the map or commenting on existing places. As author of these descriptions and comments your company will get promotion as a chosen Mapsack 'expert' partner, and you can create links back to your website. Your presence also helps our users who, having browsed the world for interesting places to go, they can then see who to book with.

1. Join & create a profile on Mapsack.com
   • Click top right corner 'Join' link and fill in simple joining form
   • Add a description and maybe an image of and links to your company.
2. Add place markers to the map
   • Determine places to mark on map & get description & image ready.
   • Find location on map or use search box in right column (our maps do not have details for all countries). Note: you need to zoom in as far as you can to put place marker in right place, (the detailed satellite images are not always there).
   • Describe & tag. 'Type of posting' relates to basic categories in right column on site. Accurate tagging is important to help people find your places. Follow other examples & keep it simple.
   • Note: The more markers you add the more likely you are to be seen (If you have large amounts of content you want to map, and if you already have 'geocodes' (latitude/longitude), then you can supply on an excel file and we will upload for you).

• Click 'Add Mapsack to your site' at bottom of page & follow instructions there to generate html.
• Simply add the generated HTML to your webpage to display map.
